In less than a year, Centro Properties Group’s U.S. assets grew from 100 centers to more than 650 properties. The Australia-based company acquired six Westfield Malls, two public companies – Heritage Property and New Plan all between July of 2006 and April of 2007. Development and deployment of a “turnkey” electronic portfolio brand management system to quickly integrate acquisition portfolios was the first step toward significant marketing cost efficiencies.
