From the homepage, teens are able to dive deep into potential careers paths.

The Maryland Business Roundtable for Education (MBRT) chose no|inc to help them to extend their wildly successful “Achievement Counts” program online.

The first phase of the project, which launched in the fall of 2004, extended the reach of the Speakers Bureau component of the program by providing students with extended biographies and career path information on several of the speakers which had visited schools around the state.

The second phase of the project, which is currently under development, extends the program by making it a truly personalized and interactive experience. Teens will be able to participate in interactive educational experiences which are contextualized to careers. As such, we look to bridge the conceptual gap between what academic subjects and professions.

In order to incentive the interaction and instill a work/reward ethic, teens will earn points for successful interaction which can be used to get prizes such as Orioles tickets and audio downloads. On the back end, these points will be used to stratify users into “engagement levels” which can be used against success outcomes to see the effect that the program has had on the users.

No|inc has worked in collaboration with MBRT and more than 60 statewide and local government, education, business and community groups in order to bring this vision to reality.
