The Project Assistant is part of the Business Team and responsible for helping the Project Manager with the daily tasks of the company’s projects and team needs. The Project Assistant works primarily as a liaison between the other departments and the Business Team to provide necessary communication to ensure smooth and efficient operation as well as ensuring that all members of various project teams have the resources they need. This involves assisting in not only tracking project tasks and information, such as feedback from clients, quality assurance groups, or the technical team but also the status of team needs such as supplies and assist with non-technical quality assurance tasks, as needed.



  • Associate's degree, business related field preferred
  • 2+ years experience in administrative work


  • Updating timetables, schedules, and progress reports
  • Liaison with development, project management, and customer support
  • Working with the quality assurance team to verify end-user expectations
  • Sorting and filing important documentation
  • Setting up design/production meetings
  • Distributing project updates
  • Facilitating team communication
  • Responsible for ensuring that all scheduled progress reports are collected in a timely manner and any timetable changes are communicated
  • Assist in preparing reports and data collection for analysis
  • Assist in the creation of strategies for easier and effective execution of projects
  • Track tasks assigned to project workers

Skills and Qualifications

  • Clear communicator (written and verbal)
  • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
  • Business process understanding
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint primarily) or Google Drive/Docs
  • Experience with Project Tracking and Management Software and Processes preferred
  • Atlassian products preferred (e.g. JIRA, Confluence or Wiki)
  • Experiences in Quality Management Software and Processes preferred
